Nation's Largest Publicly Operated Health Plan Signs Contract for PBM Services with Navitus Health Solutions

MADISON, Wis., Oct. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Navitus Health Solutions, LLC announced today that it has signed a three-year contract to provide pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services to L.A. Care Health Plan (L.A. Care).

L.A. Care is the nation's largest publicly operated health plan, serving more than 1.5 million Los Angeles County residents through a variety of health coverage programs. L.A. Care is also a Qualified Health Plan under the Covered California state exchange. L.A. Care will transition its pharmacy benefit programs to Navitus on January 1, 2015.
