LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Aug. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Two senior-level federal and state health policy experts have joined IPRO's management team.
Patricia (`Patti') Simino Boyce, Ph.D., RN, comes to IPRO from the CMS Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, where she provided strategic guidance and technical expertise in quality improvement, collaborative learning and healthcare transformation. Previously, she was Director of Policy for Care Delivery and Quality Improvement at the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission. Dr. Boyce has a wealth of public and private-sector experience, having held a leadership position at the Visiting Nursing Service of New York's Center for Homecare Policy and Research, as well as directing programs at the Primary Care Development Corporation of New York, the New York State Department of Health, Ernst & Young and New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.
Jennifer N. Edwards, DrPH, MHS, joins IPRO from The Lewin Group, where she supported state Medicaid agencies in designing, implementing and evaluating innovations in service delivery and finance. Prior to Lewin, Dr. Edwards was a Managing Principal at Health Management Associates, a Patient Safety Facilitator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a Senior Program Officer and Deputy Director of the Task Force on the Future of Health Insurance at The Commonwealth Fund. Dr. Edwards has published a number of book chapters and papers on service innovation, public finance and Medicaid in leading journals including Health Affairs, Medical Care and the American Journal of Public Health.
