National Society Of High School Scholars (NSHSS) To Hold Its 2014 Signature Event: Scholars Day
WASHINGTON, July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), an international honor society organization dedicated to highlighting the accomplishments of high school students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship, and community commitment, announces its 2014 Scholars Day, a signature event attended by more than 1,000 diverse scholars, parents and educators. The event will be held at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, August 2, 2014. The special daylong event will recognize top students with a variety of different scholarships presented by key corporate partners and leaders.
Claes Nobel, senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes and co-founder of the National Society of High School Scholars, will deliver a keynote address titled "Learn, Lead and Change the World." Key executives from the Central Intelligence Agency, U.S. Department of State, Tesoro Corporation, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Abercrombie & Fitch will also give remarks.
