National Safety Council recognizes 2014 Distinguished Service to Safety Award honorees
Individuals honored for their commitment to safety and health
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the National Safety Council recognized six individuals with the highest honor it bestows on safety professionals. The Distinguished Service to Safety Awards are presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated a lifetime of outstanding service to the field of safety and health throughout their careers.
This year's six recipients were recognized at the Opening Session of the NSC Congress & Expo – the largest annual gathering of safety and health professionals. Honorees are nominated either by one of the NSC occupational safety volunteer groups or the Board of Directors.
"These 2014 award recipients are living examples of the Journey to Safety Excellence – continually working to improve safety within their respective industries," said Deborah A.P.
