NEVADA CITY, Calif., Feb. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Rural Accountable Care Consortium will participate in the Rural Health Clinics (RHC) Technical Assistance Webinar, covering program strategies and resources to maximize rural providers' success in their transformation to a value-based payment structure. Through the session, rural providers will gain a clear understanding about new models of care delivery that will improve the quality of care for their community. Moving to new payment models is essential for provider success, as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has ambitiously committed to having 30 percent of its Medicare reimbursement in alternative payment models by 2016, and 50 percent by the end of 2018.

"This webinar will provide information on steps rural healthcare providers can take to set up a billable care coordination program, and to begin providing population health services for their community."
