National Retailer selects Single Touch's Location Based Mobile Ad Technology to Drive in Store Sales
JERSEY CITY, N.J., March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Single Touch Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: SITO), a technology based mobile media solutions provider, announced today that through its channel partner, AT&T, it has signed RadioShack for its FollowMe(SM) location based mobile advertising technology.
RadioShack will use Single Touch's mobile ad tech to programmatically deliver targeted ads to consumers within close proximity to thirty of their newly renovated feature stores. The campaign will run on smartphones for both iOS and Android and include in-app and mobile web inventory.
"We are excited that our mobile ad tech product will be used by RadioShack as they continue their re-branding efforts that began earlier this year," said James Orsini, president and CEO of Single Touch. "FollowMe revenue growth – the fastest growing portion of our revenue mix – is evidence that we are well positioned to capitalize on the growing mobile advertising market as marketers begin to shift more of their ad budgets toward mobile."
To drive in-store sales, RadioShack will target consumers using behavioral, contextual and location based attributes in order to optimize its target audience to enable a higher click through rate and redemption of its mobile offers. The media buy will encompass more than 8 million impressions delivered over a two-week period, and involve ads delivered to customers in an automated, real-time process that learns from the results of the last ad and optimizes performance.
FollowMe is the newest component of Single Touch's mobile marketing solutions, a comprehensive product suite designed to enable brands to connect with consumers by delivering timely, impactful mobile advertisements and messages.
