National Republican Congressional Committee Campaign Chair Rep. Greg Walden to Address Sept. 8 National Press Club Newsmaker, Discuss Ability to Keep House Majority, Strategy in Clinton-Trump Context, Issues

WASHINGTON, Aug. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR), Chair of the National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee, will speak at a National Press Club Newsmaker news conference, Tues., Sept. 8, 10 a.m., in the Club's Zenger Room. The NRCC Chair will outline the House Republicans' strategy, agenda, messaging, targeting, voter outreach, and the ability to keep the House Majority in the Clinton-Trump context and issues.

Rep. Walden was selected by House Speaker John Boehner to chair the NRCC in November 2012. The Congressman serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee and chairs the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology.

Residing in Hood River, Walden represents Oregon's Second Congressional District, and has served in Congress since 2009. The district is Oregon's largest geographically and includes Medford as its biggest city.
