National Press Club to Host Documentary Series
NPC Calls for Submissions
WASHINGTON, May 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Press Club announced today it will host its second annual summer documentary series during July and August 2010.

The series will feature an assortment of films written and produced by journalists and media affiliates and students of these areas that would otherwise qualify for NPC membership.
The NPC events committee is accepting documentaries on a broad range of topics, including: freedom of the press, politics, human interest, humor as related to a current event and environmental issues/climate change.
Applicants should submit their documentaries in the form of a DVD. The submission should include a synopsis of the film, a brief professional bio and the filmmaker's contact information. Submissions must be postmarked by May 28, 2010.

The National Press Club will notify filmmakers by Friday, June 18, 2010, if their documentary will be featured. Films will not be returned.
The summer documentary series events will be open to members of the National Press Club and the general public.
