National Press Club Awards Deadline Approaching
WASHINGTON, March 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The deadline for entering this year's National Press Club journalism awards is fast approaching. Entries are being accepted through April 1. Print, online and broadcast reports are eligible.

Awards are given for consumer reporting, Washington regional reporting, press criticism, diplomatic reporting, newsletter reporting, online journalism, political journalism, geriatric writing, humor writing, animal reporting, aerospace and defense reporting and political analysis.
Entries are free for club members and $25 for non-club members.
Last year's winners included reporters from the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, MSNBC.com, the Salt Lake Tribune and WTVF Channel 5 in Nashville, Tenn.
Winners are feted at a dinner at the club, located in Washington, D.C.
