WASHINGTON, Jan. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Neil Mulholland, President and CEO of the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America's national parks, welcomed Valerie Dorian to her new role as the Foundation's Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Strategic Alliances. In this role, Dorian will provide strategic oversight and facilitation of the Foundation's corporate and cause marketing partnerships, working closely with industry partners to deepen existing partnerships and forge new alliances in support of the National Park Foundation's mission. Dorian will be based out of the National Park Foundation's headquarters in Washington, D.C. and report to Patricia Nicklin, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Dorian comes to the National Park Foundation from The Nature Conservancy, where she served as the global lead for corporate marketing partnerships, brand marketing and signature programs. Prior to her tenure with The Nature Conservancy, Dorian held marketing positions at business consulting firms, Accenture and American Management Systems as well as Ketchum Public Relations. Dorian holds a B.A. degree in English and Psychology from Indiana University and a M.S. degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
