National League of Cities Statement on Introduction of Water Protection and Reinvestment Trust Fund Act of 2013

WASHINGTON, Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Following the introduction of the Water Protection and Reinvestment Trust Fund Act of 2013 (H.R. 3582) earlier today, National League of Cities (NLC) President Chris Coleman, mayor of Saint Paul, Minn., issued the following statement:

Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), Richard Hanna (R-NY), John Duncan (R-TN) and Edward Whitfield (R-KY) in introducing the Water Protection and Reinvestment Trust Fund Act of 2013 (H.R. 3582) to provide critical funding to upgrade and improve our nation's infrastructure.
