WASHINGTON, March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The leadership of the National League of Cities (NLC) today met with President Obama at the White House as part of its annual legislative meeting - the Congressional City Conference. The city leaders shared with the President their stories of what is happening in America's hometowns and underscored the need for the federal government to take action to help accelerate job growth in the country and the importance of federal investments in our local communities.
