AFL-CIO Executive Vice President Arlene Holt Baker will Kick-off and Participate in Door-to-Door Canvas and Work Site Leafleting
DARBY, Pa., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- National AFL-CIO Executive Vice President Arlene Holt Baker will join union volunteers on Thursday, September 23 and rally the troops before hitting the streets to knock on doors of union households in support of the AFL-CIO endorsed candidates in this fall's election. The starting point for the member-to-member canvas will be at the union hall of the American Postal Workers Union Local 89 in Darby, PA.
Following the door-to-door canvas, Vice President Holt Baker will join members of the United Steelworkers Local 12698 to leaflet workers during a shift change at the Congoleum Corporation facility in Trainer, PA. She will be joined by the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO Working Families Bus.
Workers and labor leaders will be available for comment and the Working Families Bus and participating workers and volunteers will provide appealing visuals for photographers and videographers.
