National Hardware Show(R) Opens Tomorrow With Home Improvement Icons, Celebrities, Twitter Party & Industry Insights For Home Improvement Resellers
LAS VEGAS, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Home improvement product resellers attending the National Hardware Show® May 4-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center will have access to a wealth of insights and information -- exclusive to the Show and absolutely free to attendees. A series of seminars will highlight important market trends and provide inside information and proprietary research from the most respected publications, organizations and experts. The list of presenters includes the Home Improvement Research Institute (HIRI), the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) and the Paint & Decorating Retailers Association (PDRA), as well as industry icons like former Walmart senior vice chairman Don Soderquist who will keynote on Wed. May 5th at 9:30 AM (PDT).
The outstanding line-up begins at 8:45 AM (PDT) when Pat Farrah, co-founder, The Home Depot, will open the show and recognize the National Hardware Show's 65th anniversary. From there, "Live from the National Hardware Show Twitter Party, begins at 11:00 AM (PDT) and the Home Improvement Research Institute (HIRI) will present the latest tracking study results of anticipated home improvement products at 11:15 AM (PDT) which will not only reveal what projects U.S. consumers are planning but -- for the first time -- will break it down according to the Top 25 markets. From there, Bridget Brennan, CEO, The Female Factor, presents, "Why She Buys" at 12 Noon (PDT). Brennan will present the new strategy for reaching the world's most powerful consumers – women- in an hour-long keynote presentation.
The remainder of the day will be packed with information designed to assist retailers with information that enables them to improve their businesses with new research, information and trends.

Paul Teutul Sr., from the TV show, Orange County Choppers, will be in the Gladiator booth #6917 from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m. to hear first-hand how Paul and Gladiator® GarageWorks worked together to design and build the Gladiator brand bike.
This marks the 65th anniversary of the National Hardware Show®, which is completely sold out of exhibit space to manufacturers from the Home Improvement, Lawn & Garden/Outdoor Living, Tailgating and other key industries.
