Expanded relationship offers NFIB members discounted workers' compensation insurance
RENO, Nev., Feb. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has officially named EMPLOYERS®, America's small business insurance specialist®, its workers' compensation insurance provider of choice for members in 19 states. Having previously named EMPLOYERS provider of choice for its California and Florida members in 2009 and 2010 respectively, the NFIB now will expand the value-added benefits to members in 17 additional states throughout the course of 2011 and additional states in 2012. NFIB selected EMPLOYERS because of its focus and expertise as a specialty writer of workers' compensation insurance for small businesses.
Depending on the state, qualifying NFIB members are eligible to receive either a 5 percent discount or a 5 percent flat dividend on workers' compensation insurance policies with EMPLOYERS and may be eligible for additional discounts or dividends. Members can access this valuable benefit through EMPLOYERS-appointed agencies. This benefit will rollout as follows:
