MT. PROSPECT, Ill., Jan. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- National data center hosting provider, CoreLink Data Centers, LLC (www.corelink.com/) today announced the hiring of John Duggan as Vice President of Sales. Duggan brings nearly 25 years of executive level sales management expertise to the post, derived from progressively higher level positions in the managed and IT services, hardware, software and consulting arenas, most recently establishing and leading the midwest, Canadian, and indirect channel sales efforts of iRise, a California-based professional software and services firm.
With broad team building experience and client relations skills, combined with a sales track record consistently exceeding yearly goals, Duggan also has sales expertise in the manufacturing and healthcare verticals, the latter market a key element of CoreLink's growth strategy. He will also leverage extensive general management experience in hiring and training strategic account executives and sales teams in support of the company's aggressive growth.
"We are pleased to appoint John Duggan to this key managerial position, particularly during CoreLink's increased level of expansion in healthcare and a growing client base of small-, medium-, and large enterprise customers and service providers," said Charles Picasso, CoreLink's Chairman and CEO. "[Duggan's] partnership development, sales tracking and reporting abilities will further fuel CoreLink's growth objectives," Picasso said. "We are excited to have such a talented sales leader join our team."
In addition to his most recent role at iRise, Duggan has held high level management positions at SunGard Availability Services, Qwest Communications, AT&T and Motorola, among other companies.
