WASHINGTON, Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), the nation's leading nonprofit public-private partnership promoting the safe and secure use of the Internet, will launch the 2014 National Cyber Security Awareness Month on October 1 at the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The official kick-off event will feature several leaders from both public and private sectors coming together to promote online safety awareness including White House Cyber Security Advisor Michael Daniel and Department of Homeland Security Deputy Under Secretary Phyllis Schneck.
