National Capital Bank of Washington Announces the Appointment of John D. Brand as Chief Lending Officer
WASHINGTON, June 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- National Capital Bank (NCB) is pleased to announce the appointment of John D. Brand as its Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer.
Mr. Brand brings over three decades of lending expertise to the Bank, including over twenty years in the Washington metropolitan area. Mr. Brand has an extensive banking background, starting at a community bank in Phoenix, Arizona. He later held senior leadership positions with Citibank, Chevy Chase Bank and most recently Burke & Herbert Bank in Alexandria. Mr. Brand will work closely with Robert F. Comstock, the Bank's Chairman and CEO and with the Bank's senior management team as the Bank implements a strategy to grow along with this region's dynamic economy.
The Bank is also pleased to announce the promotions of R. Andrew Didden to Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, Sheryl C. Smith to Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, and Bob D. Hall, II to Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
