National Cannabis Industry Association Announces Keynote Speakers for 3rd Annual Seed to Sale Show in Boston

BOSTON, Jan. 24, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Cannabis Industry Association is pleased to announce the keynote speaker program for our 3rd annual Seed to Sale Show in Boston on February 12-13. The nation's largest cannabis business trade group will host advocates and industry leaders to provide valuable information and perspectives on the future in the Northeast and nationally at the largest B2B conference and trade show specializing in the cannabis industry.

Day One Opening Keynote
Join us for an eye-opening discussion with visionary entrepreneur, Adam Bierman, about business opportunities in the growing legalization of cannabis, and how to redefine society's relationship with the plant.

Adam Bierman is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of MedMen Enterprises, the nation's preeminent cannabis company and the most recognized brand in the emerging marijuana industry. Bierman is a champion of institutional practices, professional standards, and clear and reasonable regulations that will take the cannabis industry to its next, mainstream phase.

Day Two Opening Keynote
NCIA Executive Director, Aaron Smith, will sit down for a fireside chat with Steven Hoffman, chairman of the Cannabis Control Commission of Massachusetts, to discuss the first few months of adult-use legalization, the challenges of implementation, and the path forward.

Day Two Closing Keynote
The Seed to Sale Show will close with a panel discussion called 'Social Equity: Promoting Sustainable, Social, and Reparative Practices in the Cannabis Industry.' Advocacy and industry leaders - including Shanita Penny, President of the Minority Cannabis Business Association, Andrea Cabral, CEO of Ascend; Laury Lucien, CEO of GreenLight Business Solutions, LLC; and Kebra Smith-Bolden, CEO of Cannahealth - will discuss the importance of equity and social justice as a foundation of the industry as states and the federal government get closer to making cannabis legal.
