OLYMPIA, Wash., May 26, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Washington State Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will be presenting the Allies in Action State Award to Washington Representative Tina Orwall at 10 a.m., May 28, 2015 at the Representative's Des Moines office. Allies in Action is an annual awards program sponsored by AFSP whereby members of Congress, federal agencies, other mental health organizations, and state representatives who have done exemplary work in preventing suicide are recognized for their actions. This award is being given to the Representative for her continued leadership over the past four years for expanding suicide prevention and mental health initiatives across Washington State.
