National Association Of Women Business Owners (NAWBO®) Issues Statement On Today's Unemployment Statistics
WASHINGTON, Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO®) issued the following statement by NAWBO National Chairwoman/Interim CEO Billie Dragoo in reaction to today's unemployment statistics:
"The fact that today's jobs report for September shows payrolls rising less than forecasted is disappointing but we remain cautiously optimistic. Earlier this month, NAWBO hosted its annual Women's Business Conference in Miami where we heard from hundreds of women entrepreneurs and business owners from across the country. I am pleased to report our members remain optimistic in the economic outlook not only for their individual businesses but for our country as a whole. Given that women entrepreneurs are a driving force in the business community of the United States, this is an encouraging indicator for our economy moving forward."
