National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) Announces New Staff Appointments
ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Association of Specialty Pharmacy™ (NASP™) announced today that Jayson S. Slotnik, MPH, JD has been appointed Health Policy Advisor to the association and Virginia Sweeter, CMP has been appointed Meetings and Education Program Consultant.
Mr. Slotnik is a principal and founding member of Health Policy Strategies, Inc., a Washington, DC based consulting firm representing innovative biotech, pharmaceutical, device, and diagnostic companies. He counsels clients on Medicare and Medicaid coverage, payment and reimbursement and other government policies.
Ms. Sweeter is an accomplished meeting planner and association manager. Her previous work experience includes serving as the deputy executive director for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. She also worked for Courtesy Associates/Smith Bucklin, a conference and association management firm. Additionally, Virginia served as deputy executive director with the American Helicopter Society International.
