PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Portland based OCHIN, Inc. will host its annual Learning Forum, "Adding Value Through Technology" in Portland, Oregon at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower – November 15-17. Each day will be filled with educational sessions, keynote speakers and exhibits. "The Forum is an opportunity for the healthcare community to come together, learn from industry experts and share best practices that improve healthcare," said, Phil Skiba, OCHIN's Vice President of Business Services. Over 40 learning tracks include, Clinical Excellence, Finance, Health Information Technology, Leading People, Operational Management and Regulatory & Compliance.
The keynote speakers will kick off each segment by providing valuable information that attendees can put to use immediately.
This year, the Forum has been extended to include Saturday, November 17th to accommodate physician practices that may be unable to close their offices on Thursday or Friday to attend. OCHIN is Oregon's Regional Health IT Extension Center (O-HITEC) and contracts with over 3,000 individual clinicians who are receiving support services to help them achieve the federal Meaningful Use requirements and better serve their patients by using and electronic health record.
