National American University Announces New Tuition Advantage
RAPID CITY, S.D., March 7, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- National American University recently introduced the NAU Tuition Advantage, which allows undergraduate students to reduce their tuition cost. An eligible student who completes a minimum number of credit hours (generally 3 classes) will receive a lower tuition rate per credit hour for that academic quarter.
An eligible student who completes all courses in an undergraduate degree program at NAU, completing at least 18 credits (generally 4 classes) each quarter, can save approximately 35% of the total tuition cost compared to a student who completes only 9 credits (generally 2 classes) per quarter. Students with transfer credit and nursing students may also save, with actual savings depending upon the circumstances of each student. Students who receive the NAU military tuition rate or another NAU special rate do not participate in the NAU Tuition Advantage, because they receive a reduced rate under those tuition plans.
"The NAU Tuition Advantage allows students to earn a degree sooner and at a lower tuition rate," says Dr. Ronald Shape, President and CEO of National American University. "Our success and our commitment to students are rooted in the belief that quality educational opportunities should be available to anyone who desires them. The NAU Tuition Advantage will provide more people this opportunity."
During the past 75 years, NAU has grown to serve students at more than 30 locations and online. Courses are offered in traditional, online, and hybrid formats that provide students increased flexibility to take classes at times and places convenient to their busy lifestyles.
National American University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, with several academic programs separately accredited or approved by national educational and professional associations. It offers diploma, associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in technical and professional fields, including business, accounting, technology, health care, nursing, criminal justice, and legal studies.
