National Air Cargo Holdings, Inc. Delivers Much Needed Aide to Hurricane Harvey Victims

BUFFALO, N.Y. and HOUSTON, Sept. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- National Air Cargo Holdings, Inc., a multinational organization combining global freight logistics solutions with a Part 121 US Air Carrier ("National Air Cargo" or the "Company"), provided relief supplies to Houston citizens still affected by Hurricane Harvey, one of the most devastating Tropical Storms to affect North America in the last decade. 

The products, donated by local grocery stores in Boynton Beach, Florida and parents and students from the American Heritage School, were transported via a 53-foot tractor trailer from Delray Beach, Florida to a relief center in Conroe, Texas. 

Organized by National Air Cargo, volunteers loaded 23 skids of supplies before the tractor trailer made its 16 hours and 45-minute journey to Conroe, a small city 40 miles North of Downtown Houston that was badly affected by flooding from Hurricane Harvey.  Conroe, a city with just over 80,000 residents, was devastated by the overflow of nearby Lake Conroe, a 21,000-acre body of water that burst into Montgomery and Conroe counties, causing mass flooding and severe damage to many area neighborhoods.

The relief effort organized by National Air Cargo is one of many, including the Company's donation of transportation and goods to victims of Hurricane Matthew in Haiti in 2016.  The Company remains committed to supporting those in need and will continue to provide logistics and transportation support to those affected by natural disasters around the world.
