Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Giveaway Makes Summer Sizzle

CHICAGO, June 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrate the grilling season with Nathan's Famous hot dogs and their biggest hot dog giveaway ever from now through July 6.

Hot dog lovers are invited to visit the company's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SpecialtyFoodsGroup to enter the weekly drawing for free Nathan's Famous all beef hot dogs.  Each Friday during the promotion, 700 winners will be selected to receive a $5.99 coupon good on any one package of Nathan's hot dogs.

"It's hot dog season across America and we're celebrating," says Janet Sweeney, marketing director for Specialty Foods Group, which makes Nathan's Famous hot dogs sold in supermarkets nationwide.  "We'll produce more than 1.5 million Nathan's Famous hot dogs each day leading up to the Fourth of July.  This year, we're giving people a chance to try them for free."
