NATEL EMS Wins Prestigious Raytheon Four Star Supplier Award

CHATSWORTH, Calif., June 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- "NATEL EMS has been awarded the prestigious Four Star Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon IDS for supplying components on several critical programs," announced NATEL EMS President/CEO Sudesh Arora.

This places NATEL EMS among the top 0.5% of the 10,000 Raytheon suppliers. The Four Star requirements for quality and delivery are 97%, and NATEL EMS achieved 99% delivery and 98% quality scores.

At Raytheon's annual awards ceremony on June 4, Ted Shpak, IDS Supplier Quality Director, presented the award. "NATEL EMS is a valuable supplier for Raytheon and has worked closely with us on the Patriot program … Not easy technology, I'll tell you that," Shpak remarked while presenting the award. Jay Klug, NATEL EMS Vice President of Contracts and Security, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

For the past decade, Klug has supported numerous Raytheon programs across all four-business units. "True to our name, Electronic Manufacturing Solutions, we had to continually solve engineering challenges on new and legacy programs such as AESA, Patriot, THAAD, RACR, and B2," Klug said, "and this award recognizes our success in doing so while meeting contract schedules and providing reliable parts."

Previously, NATEL EMS received a Three Star Award from Raytheon Missile Systems in 2006. This is the first Star Supplier award from IDS.
