EL PASO, Texas, Dec. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Sovereign Health, a leading national provider of behavioral health treatment services, has named Natalie K. Bellman-Seeskin, Ph.D., as the new Site Training Director of El Paso. Dr. Bellman-Seeskin will focus on training goals for both patients and staff, as well as the development of a doctoral level Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers internship program.
"I am a native of El Paso, Texas, and an alumnus of the University of Texas at El Paso," says Dr. Bellman-Seeskin. "I have worked with a variety of different populations: inpatient forensic, outpatient community mental health, veterans and geriatrics. I now come to Sovereign Health as the new Site Training Director, and I'm excited to help it grow and flourish."
Dr. Bellman-Seeskin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, followed by her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island. After her completion, she received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to her time at Sovereign, Dr. Bellman-Seeskin was the Clinical Psychologist at El Paso Veteran's Administration Health Care System – Home Based Primary Care, where she provided screening, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of varying mental health concerns. She had a special emphasis on the application of time-limited, evidence-based approaches to a primarily geriatric veteran population.
