NASCAR Sprint Cup Driver Jeff Burton Hosts Wounded Soldiers at Samsung Mobile 500
FORT WORTH, Texas, April 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Nationwide Series driver Jeff Burton along with the Armed Forces Foundation will be hosting a group of our nation's Wounded Warriors at Texas Motor Speedway's Samsung Mobile 500 this Sunday, April 18. The troops, all whom have been injured in combat operations, will have the opportunity to meet Burton and other drivers Sunday morning before viewing the race from Pit Row.

The Armed Forces Foundation will also be hosting a dinner for the troops Saturday evening before the race at the Reata restaurant in Fort Worth. Also present will be NASCAR team owner Richard Childress and Patricia Driscoll, president of the Armed Forces Foundation.
The event is hosted as part of the Armed Forces Foundation's Morale, Welfare and Recreation program which aims to help service members escape from the stresses of deployment and injury. Being able to provide diversionary activities plays a key role in helping injured military members recover and readjust to civilian life.
