WASHINGTON, Sept. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NASA will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the agency's headquarters in Washington Tuesday, Oct. 4, with stories of aspiration, inspiration and exploration. Aspira con NASA / Aspire with NASA will highlight the contributions of Hispanics to NASA's mission and their incredible personal stories. The event will air live on NASA Television and the agency's website at 10 a.m. EDT.
Opening remarks will be given by NASA Administrator Charles Bolden and Krista Paquin, associate administrator for NASA Headquarters Mission Support. The program will feature guest speakers Diana Trujillo, mission lead for Mars Curiosity Rover, and former NASA astronaut José Hernández.
