Johnson played a major role in the NASA Capabilities Forum (NCF) held in July 2010. This follow on meeting to the Human Space Flight Capabilities Forum incorporated inputs from all of NASA's Mission Directorates. He worked countless hours with the Mission Support Directorate to organize and analyze all of the submittals for the NCF. The meeting resulted in NASA substantially reducing a funding gap. Johnson demonstrated an incredible work ethic, a commitment to NASA, and contributed to its vision to pioneer a future in exploration and operations.
