HAMPTON, Va., April 8, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NASA Langley is supporting the fourth annual International Space Apps Challenge that will be held Friday night to Sunday evening — April 10, 7 p.m. EDT to 5 p.m., April 12 — at more than 135 locations worldwide, including New York, host of the event's Global Mainstage.
The Peninsula Technology Incubator will host the local event and is listed as "757" or the Southeast Virginia area code on NASA's Space App Challenge web site:

More than 200 data sets, services and tools will be available for the Space Apps challenge. This event brings together tech-savvy citizens, scientists, entrepreneurs, educators, and students as well as volunteers from NASA Langley to help solve problems and questions relevant to space exploration and broader subjects that impact life on Earth.
This year, 35 challenges represent NASA mission priorities in four areas: Earth studies, space exploration, human health research, and robotics.
Space Apps 2015 will be streamed online for virtual participants. Follow the challenge or submit questions throughout the event on Twitter using the hashtag #spaceapps.
