NASA Federal Credit Union Awards Scholarship to Area Student David Christo
UPPER MARLBORO, Md., June 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- David Christo of Glenn Dale, Md., and a graduate of St. Vincent Pallotti High School is a 2010 recipient of a NASA Federal Credit Union Scholarship. NASA Federal Credit Union awarded scholarships to nine area high school seniors as part of its 2010 Mitchell-Beall Memorial Scholarship program. The annual program rewards the academic endeavors of young Credit Union members who are working toward four-year or two-year undergraduate degrees or vocational studies.

Mr. Christo will be attending Loyola University in Maryland this coming year on a Presidential Scholarship. He was recently honored at an awards luncheon along with the following additional winners:

- Daniel Wang, Leesburg, VA (Thomas Jefferson High School)
- Cortney McCoy, Fort Washington, MD (Oxon Hill High School)
- Colleen Brenner, Painter, VA (Brenner Home School Academy)
- Natalie Clagett, Accokeek, MD (Elizabeth Seton High School)
- Gloria Lee, Burke, VA (Thomas Jefferson High School)
- Katharine Jackson, Woodstock, MD (Marriotts Ridge High School)
- Ursula Tooley, Greenbelt, MD (Eleanor Roosevelt High School)

The Scholarship Program was established in 1983 in memory of Wilfred Mitchell and Donald Beall, both former NASA Federal Credit Union presidents.
