WALLOPS ISLAND, Va., Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NASA has awarded contracts to four Maryland small businesses for architect and engineering services at the Goddard Space Flight Center, the Wallops Flight Facility and smaller Goddard facilities, such as remote tracking stations.

The companies selected are Global Engineering Solutions, Inc., Rockville; Cho Benn Holback & Associates, Inc., Baltimore; EBL Engineers LLC, Baltimore; and Waldon Studio Architects and Planners, PC, Columbia .
The contracts are firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity. The total cumulative value for all orders placed under the four contracts is $15,000,000. The ordering period for all contracts will be five years.
The companies will be providing engineering and special studies, preliminary engineering reports, final design and follow on construction services for nontechnical facilities design. This work includes facility restorations, office modifications, and underground infrastructure.
