Narrativ Named to 2018 CNBC Upstart 100
Commerce infrastructure built for consumers, not monopolies
NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Narrativ, an AI technology company building a better internet for shoppers, has been named to CNBC's 2018 Upstart 100 list, which recognizes up-and-coming promising startups spanning various sectors based on metrics including scalability, sales and user growth, and intellectual property.
This list follows a sweep of recent honors Narrativ earned in 2018. The company was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum for building patent-pending SmartLink technology that ends the 404, joining past recipients including Google, AirBNB, and Palantir.
Founder & CEO Shirley Chen was named to Ad Age's 40 Under 40 in September 2018 on the heels of her Forbes 30 Under 30 nod last September for "giving the Internet a facelift."
"CNBC Upstart 100 is a profound validation of Narrativ's technology and momentum in the market," said Shirley Chen, Founder and CEO of Narrativ. "But this is just the beginning. We're building an internet where users never experience an out of stock link or 404 page, and always have open access to the information they need to make shopping decisions."
Narrativ is one of 19 honorees with a female founder, in spite of only 2% of VC dollars given to women-led companies in 2017.
