Along with other partners of the firm, attorneys Matthew Lavin, Danielle J. Marlow and Christopher L. Schnieders, celebrated their arrival at the firm at a well-timed Partner Planning Meeting. Additionally, Senior Associate Salvatore C. Badala's promotion to Partner and General Counsel was announced and celebrated. Marie Napoli notes, "The timing could not be better. Ms. Marlow joins the firm from Reed Smith LLP and will be heading up the firm's Complex Commercial Litigation Department out of the Long Island office. Mr. Lavin was previously with Butzel Long and will also be part of the Complex Commercial Litigation Department, focusing on Parity Litigation out of Washington DC. Mr. Schnieders, formerly of Wagstaff & Cartmell, LLP, is a welcome addition the firm's Pharmaceutical Litigation Department and is based in Kansas. Mr. Badala will continue to be a key member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Department in Long Island while expanding his duties as General Counsel.
