NAPLES, Fla., Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Peter Jean-Marie, the trendy twenty-something behind the clothing brand of the same name, manifests his laid-back dress casual persona in his collection of comfortable yet tailored clothing that has a great price point.
Jean-Marie began his career in fashion as a model in Naples. He also attended Miami International University of Art & Design Fine for three years. It was there when he heard about a chocolate-driven fashion competition and won national recognition for his Ferrero Rocher adorned women's gown.
His new line is designed for men and women in his favorite colors of white, black, burgundy and blue. His millennial-generation peers have skyrocketed his Instagram and Twitter with 19,000 followers.
This self-proclaimed influencers designs are versatile and go from day to night with ease. He specializes in blazers in textiles of polyester, cotton and neoprene to dresses for the ladies.
"Every design starts off with a pencil sketch, creating samples and then a pattern is made to craft the real thing," he said. "I describe my style as dress-up and casual."
Calvin Klein, Sean John and Hugo Boss are designers who inspire his trendy looks. However, his favorite celebrity for his business mindset and how to brand himself is Sean Combs. And, his top iTunes go-to — Frank Sinatra.
Peter Jean-Marie is finishing his fall line which will also include hand designed ties for men. That will launch Oct. 15. He will open a pop-up shop Nov. 23-25 at Coastland Center Mall in Naples, FL.
He's also shown his wares not once but twice at the University of Florida. As a former track and field athlete for Saint John Neumann High School, he has a loyal following of current top athletes throughout the country.
