Naperville Roofing Contractors Bake And Donate 140 Dozen Cookies For Charity

NAPERVILLE, Ill., Dec. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year in a row, Opal Enterprises, Naperville roofing contractors, are spreading holiday cheer through the use of their kitchen skills. The company's employees baked 140 dozen cookies on Saturday, December 21 with the intent to deliver them to various charities in the Naperville area. 

"We did this last year and had such a good time and the cookies were so well-received that we decided to make this an annual event for our company. Baking cookies is a great team-building experience for us and the recipients are thrilled to have fresh-baked goodies at this time of year. The roofing company rented a local kitchen operated by Tutti's Pizza, Pasta A More, located at 1783 S Washington Street, Naperville, for the day in order to make the cookies. The entire Opal Enterprises team was involved in cookie baking from office staff to the company's owners and crew members.

A total of 140 dozen cookies were baked and festively wrapped in boxes and bags for delivery to Childserve in Naperville, Ronald McDonald Family Room at Naperville's Edward Hospital, 360 Youth Services serving the Lisle/Naperville area and Family Shelter Services in Downers Grove.
