Naperville Roofing Contractor, Opal Enterprises: Supporting The Local Community Through Sponsorships

NAPERVILLE, Ill., May 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Opal Enterprises is sponsoring several charitable events in the coming months. The Naperville roofing contractors are sponsoring marathons and fun runs, a local baseball team and a skin cancer fundraiser. All of the events are local to the western Chicago suburbs and all of them take place between now and the end of the year.  

The replacement windows company is sponsoring the local Clippers adult baseball team this spring and summer. The Clippers are part of the Raul Rivera Baseball League (RRBL), which has teams throughout the Fox Valley area.

On August 10, the siding contractors in Lombard will sponsor the "Mela-No-No" fundraiser for the third year in a row. The fundraiser supports the Melanoma Research Foundation, which exists to provide research, education and advocacy for the melanoma community.

September 21 brings the Run Forest Run Race, a fun run consisting of a 5K, 10K and a 1K kids race. The event is being organized by St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church/Philoptochos with a portion of the day's proceeds going to the Wounded Warriors Project.

Wrapping up the season on November 10 is the Naperville Marathon. Opal Enterprises is an exclusive VIP Sponsor of this inaugural event, which is a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon.
