Nancy "Lady Magic" Lieberman Hosts Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, WorldVentures Is Presenting Sponsor

Lieberman was joined by celebrities and business leaders on Sep. 12 at The Hills of Prestonwood Golf and Country Club in Plano. Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart & Vascular Hospital and The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano served as title sponsors for the event. Fairway Independent Mortgage was the Legacy Sponsor of the tournament.

Tournament players, including WorldVentures executives, paired up with celebrities for top golfing honors and exciting prizes presented at the dinner following the round.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Nancy Lieberman Charities to provide a healthy physical, emotional and mental environment for young girls and boys to build their self-esteem and confidence so they will be able to make the right choices in the future.

WorldVentures CEO Dan Stammen offered his appreciation for the partnership by saying, "We are honored to support Nancy and so much enjoy our relationship with her. In addition to contributing to the event as the Presenting Sponsor, WorldVentures donated a Go Pro^® that was awarded from a drawing after the tournament.

Ms. Lieberman opened the dinner following the event with the personal story that inspired her charity. "Strangers put money in a can to help send me to the Olympic trials. It was blind faith." And she encouraged everyone to "lift as you rise." She went on to remind the participants, "Nobody has ever done anything great that has done it by themselves."

She then went on to present laptops to the recipients of the "Laptops for Love" program to underprivileged students from Robert T. Hill Middle School and Bryan Adams High School in the Dallas Independent School District who demonstrated excellence in school and served in their communities. "We want every kid to have the necessary tools to excel in school and in life."
