Currently serving in the role of global account executive for ConferenceDirect, Nancy utilizes her diverse spectrum of event planning, which varies from pharmaceutical board meetings to wealth management seminars. Nancy is an innovative professional meeting and event planner, who assists clients with saving time and significant money, while providing them with exceptional service. Drawing upon her two plus decades of on-site hotel experience in multiple market segments, including corporate, non-profit and technology associations, Nancy has spent the past seven years as a true leader for ConferenceDirect, during which time she has been responsible for booking more than $5 million in gross revenue.
Prior to joining the team at ConferenceDirect, Nancy spent over two decades as an integral part of the team with Marriott International, where she worked her way up from Food & Beverage Manager, Catering Manager, Convention Sales Manager to Director of Club Product Experience, accumulating an incredible wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the business along the way.
After spending twelve years in her initial role with Marriott International, Nancy spent three years as a sales executive for Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation (MVWC), generating over $3.5 million in sales volume, which led to her receiving the prestigious Sapphire Award.
From there, she went on to blaze new trails as a Sales Experience Manager, where she was responsible for developing strategy to reduce rescission and default rates at the site as well as to provide owners with a positive experience during the sales process. She also worked with new owners as a point of sale liaison to create an anti-rescission process. During her first three months in that break through position, Nancy was able to decrease rescission rates from 18% to 10%, saving the company over $1 million in the process.
Following her four plus years as a sales experience manager, Nancy became Director of Club Product Experience, where she was responsible for the development and management of the implementation of products, services, amenities and benefits for MVWC Owners beyond their deeded purchase rights. This included partner promotions and discounts, travel services, access to Marriott branded offers and convenient benefits that add value to ownership throughout the calendar year.
In 2007, Nancy moved on to work for the Ritz-Carlton Club Corporate Office, where she served as Director of Community Relations. In that role, she spearheaded the Community Footprints program throughout The Ritz-Carlton Club Brand and the corporate arena. This program is a social and environmental responsibility program with the goal of having a positive impact on the lives of others.
Under Nancy's leadership, the program raised $500,000 through their signature charity event. She was also responsible for gathering high profile sponsors, including Tiffany, American Express, Taylor Made, Adidas, Brown Forman, Marquis Jet and Aston Martin as well as managing the itineraries of 62 celebrities.
Despite the fact that she has accumulated a significant amount of her immense expertise through her vast professional experience, Nancy is also an extensively educated individual who earned an Associate degree in Food and Hospitality from Penn State University.
