NAMIC Announces Plans to Enhance Its Digital Media Platform DiversityLive.net With $95,000 Grant From the Motorola Foundation
NEW YORK, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) today announced plans to enhance its digital media platform through an educational grant contributed by the Motorola Foundation in the amount of $95,000. The award directly supports DiversityLive.net, the organization's professional members-driven social networking destination and online community that reinforces NAMIC's mission to educate, advocate and empower for multi-ethnic diversity in the communications industry.
An online platform focused on diversity and inclusion, DiversityLive.net provides a unique experience through access to user-generated video content, professional networking opportunities, industry resources, professional development, diversity news, webinars and other exclusive educational offerings. The user experience will be enriched through enhanced social media capabilities, new video upgrades, exclusive webinars, local chapter events and member-exclusive contests and sweepstakes. The site will also feature a newly expanded DiversityLive Blog. Developed to drive increased dialogue focused on multi-ethnic inclusion in the communications industry, the DiversityLive Blog will feature monthly themes to enhance messaging.
