"With growing interest in Breakfast in the Classroom programs, the recent passage of the 'Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act,' and the First Lady's efforts to rein in childhood obesity, the school food service landscape is changing rapidly – and we wanted a forward-thinking, innovative leader to help school and community food service programs adapt to the new challenges," says Gary Davis, E S Foods' CEO. "Nadine's extensive experience in school food service and marketing makes her uniquely qualified to meet our customers' needs in this changing environment."
Doetterl 's primary role at E S Foods will be to work closely with the company's Breakfast BREAKS and Meal BREAKS lines, expand and develop opportunities with large school districts throughout the country, and help schools initiate and expand Classroom Breakfast programs.
Doetterl began her career in school food service working as a site manager for the Buffalo, New York Public Schools. For seven years she served as the Food Service Director of the Pioneer Central School District in Yorkshire, New York.
As a Past President of the New York State School Food Service Association (now the NYSNA), professional associations have played an important part in her career. During several years of membership with the NYSNA she served in many capacities, including chair of the legislative committee where she wrote a bill that became part of New York State education law.
From 2004-2008, Doetterl was School Business Manager-East for the Campbell Soup Company where her responsibilities included the management, growth and development of key school accounts in the East. Most recently, she was Vice President and General Manager of Steuben Food's Whitney's division in upstate New York, where she was responsible for the launch of a new branded product across multiple channels.
