Former Senior Vice President of Content Services and Solutions for Follett School Solutions steps into new leadership role
WESTCHESTER, Ill., Oct. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Follett Corporation, a trusted partner to preK-12 schools, districts and college campuses for more than 140 years, today announced the appointment of Nader Qaimari to lead its preK-12 business, Follett School Solutions, effective immediately.
In line with this appointment, Qaimari has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Follett Corporation, and General Manager, Follett School Solutions. He also has been named to Follett's Executive Committee.
Qaimari's appointment follows the recent announcement from Follett School Solutions' former leader Tom Schenck, who is retiring from Follett after 26 years of service. Schenck will stay with the company through December to help ensure a smooth transition.

For more than a year, Qaimari has served as Senior Vice President of Content Services and Solutions for Follett School Solutions, overseeing publisher relations, textbooks, early childhood, digital products, library collections, and classroom products. He has been a key leader and enthusiastic supporter to driving the alignment of all Follett's content services and solutions to better meet the needs of educators and librarians.
Qaimari came to Follett from Cengage Learning's Gale business, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College in Ohio and is in the final stages of completing his Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan's Stephen Ross School of Business.
