NACD Presents 2013 Supplier of the Year to Brad Miller, PQ Corporation

MARCO ISLAND, Fla., Nov. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Brad Miller, Territory Manager for the Midwest of PQ Corporation was named the 2013 Supplier of the Year by the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) this morning. Individuals selected to receive this award demonstrate outstanding commitment to the both the supplier and distribution communities, working steadfastly on behalf of the whole industry and NACD.

Brad received his award this morning during the Supplier Affiliate Breakfast at NACD's 42nd Annual Meeting, where he was commended for his significant contributions of time and talent for the betterment of the chemical distribution industry. He was also recognized for strong and positive support for chemical distributors and outstanding service to NACD and fellow NACD members/Affiliates. In presenting the award, Tony Thompson, Executive Vice President of JR Hess Company, lauded Brad for his nearly 20 year service to NACD. He remarked, "I am honored today to say thank you to Brad Miller for his dedication and unwavering support of NACD. Brad joined PQ Corporation in 1989 after spending 19 years with PPG as an account manager.  He served in a number of roles at PQ including National Accounts and Distributor Manager, Specialty Distributor Manager and in his current role.  Brad has been a member of NACD's Supplier Advisory Panel for over ten years, serving as Chairman for the past three years.
