Fidler, member of the management board of Brenntag AG, which is the parent company for Brenntag North America, was named the 2013 Distributor of the Year by the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD). Individuals who are selected to receive this award have demonstrated exemplary dedication to the mission and goals of the Association and are selected by a committee of past recipients.

In presenting the award to Fidler, Andrew Skipp, Immediate past chairman of the board and the 2012 recipient of the award, remarked on Bill's service and dedication to the Association and the chemical distribution industry. Fidler was commended for his personal participation on many levels but also for his active support of Brenntag employees in engaging in NACD programs and in their service on NACD committees and Association leadership positions.

Fidler currently is a Member of the Management Board of Brenntag AG. He is responsible for Brenntag's North and Latin American operations. Until October 2013, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Brenntag North America, Inc. and also as its President since 2006. Prior to that he served as an Executive Vice President of Brenntag North America since 1998. He started as Sales Representative of Textile Chemical Co., Reading (PA) in 1970 and developed excellent leadership skills and industry knowledge within the chemical distribution market.
