Steve received his award today during the Supplier Affiliate Breakfast at NACD's Annual Meeting, where he was commended for his significant contributions of time and talent for the betterment of the chemical distribution industry. He was also recognized for strong and positive support for chemical distributors and outstanding service to NACD and fellow NACD members/Affiliates. Kurt Hettinga, Vice President, Sales, Superior Solvents and Chemicals, presented the award. In doing so he said, "Steve has been an incredible asset to NACD for many years. He worked with NACD staff to implement an education campaign and outreach to all Supplier Affiliate reps to help them better understand the value they can get from the membership, helping transition the Chemical Supplier Affiliate program from 25 participants to over 60." Steve Cornwall joined Monsanto Chemical company in 1992. He has held several sales and marketing management positions within the phosphorus and derivatives business group, continuing with the company through its transition to ICL Performance Products. Cornwall is the current chairman of the NACD's Supplier Advisory Panel, past president of The Chemical Club of New England, Vice President of the Chemical Educational Foundation, and current board member of The Racemics organization.
