NACD Appoints Sarah Stewart to Membership Team

ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In order to better position the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) in achieving its strategic goals and serving its members, NACD announced today that it has appointed Sarah Stewart Sales and Member Relations Executive.

As Sales and Member Relations Executive, Ms. Stewart will spend most of her time recruiting members and affiliates.  "I'm excited to join such a respectable Association.  NACD's members have demonstrated their commitment to quality and product stewardship.  I look forward to helping the Association enhance its core distributor membership as well as building on the strong Affiliate programs," stated Sarah on her new position.

Sarah will also be responsible for several committees at the Association, managing the membership outreach and retention activities.  "Sarah brings new member relations and corporate development experience to the NACD membership team. She will be working with our member companies to better engage them in NACD programs and other benefits of membership, while at the same time helping to recruit new companies to NACD," said NACD President Chris Jahn.

Ms. Stewart obtained a Bachelor of Business degree from College of St. Mary's, and has nearly 10 years of experience in working on corporate membership programs. Ms. Stewart previously worked at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and on Capitol Hill.  She will report to Lucinda Schofer, Vice President of Marketing and Member Programs.
