NACA, the USHCC and the USBC Inc. recognize that minority-owned businesses and small businesses are the growth engine for the U.S. economy. The portal will be used to connect these businesses together, as they pursue federal contracts. The easy to use tool, manages opportunities, facilitates strategic alliances and fosters outreach within the small business community. Benjamin Wells, Business Growth Coach of the Mega Ideation Group, will be spearheading NACA's business development and outreach efforts with the portal.
"NACA's new innovative portal will provide growth opportunities, training webinars, and facilitate partnerships for all small businesses," stated Kevin Allis, Executive Director of NACA. "We believe building minority-business opportunities for all enhances small business interests for the American economy."
The primary objective of NACA's Business Development Portal is to provide strategic business services to minority-owned firms that result in the creation and retention of jobs for Americans through business growth. This is accomplished by increasing the domestic and global competitiveness of minority-owned firms in accessing contracts, capital and new markets.
"The USHCC is pleased to support any efforts that build meaningful business development opportunities for our communities," said USHCC President Javier Palomarez. He continued, "America's economy is built upon the achievements of small businesses, including that of more than 3 million Hispanic-owned firms."
"The USBC joins this collaboration to ensure economic empowerment continues to be available to minority entrepreneurs," said USBC President Ron Busby. He continued, "For 1.9 million Black-owned businesses across America, NACA's Business Development Portal provides our community with new opportunities to partner with Native Americans and Hispanics."
"I applaud the collaboration among these key partners of the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and the minority-business community at-large, for creating an innovative solution to drive business partnerships," said David Hinson, MBDA National Director. "Access to contracts is a key component of the economic growth agenda of the MBDA and I am certain that this effort led by NACA, a valued operator in the MBDA Business Center network, will result in new opportunities for the clients we serve."
