JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- N-Play announced today that it has added Indianapolis (MIBOR) to its growing list of MLS markets for deployment of its agent-centric IDX search application on Facebook. The company has signed 20 IDX markets since July 2012. The IDX application on Facebook is compliant with the IDX Rules and Regulations (as amended) and the new IDX Display Policy established by NAR at the 2012 Mid-Year conference.

IDX pricing will vary from market to market and will be industry competitive. Pricing for existing markets is $9.95 per month or $49.95 for an annual subscription. There are no setup fees or contract requirements. In many markets, service is automatically activated on the agent's page once the broker approves the IDX request.
"There is some confusion among many in the MLS community as it relates to IDX data and social media, particularly with respect to how the data should and should not be used," said Tim Dain, Executive Director at Southwest Illinois Regional MLS. "After seeing the IDX product that N-Play is offering via Facebook, I was happy to provide our feed. They have followed the IDX rules and policies and have built a great product for Facebook use. If the industry is interested in how IDX should be properly implemented on Facebook, they should take a close look at their solution," he said.
N-Play also provides the Real Estate Agent Directory on Facebook, a search service for consumers and real estate professionals. Consumers can find agents who are on Facebook by location and expertise in over 7,500 U.S. cities. Since launched last October, 106,000 agents have joined the Directory by adding their resumes, profiles and linking the Directory to their Facebook business pages. In addition to its main page on Facebook, the Directory is hosted on thousands of real estate related pages throughout Facebook, including 380 Realtor® Association pages and 600 broker pages. Agents must first be a member of the Directory to have access to the new IDX service.
"I was pleased to see Russ Bergeron of MRED make the recent announcement about their IDX Facebook product," said Jeff Gellman, Director of MLS Services for N-Play. "It helps introduce the industry to this new growth area. Most of the MLSs I speak to about our implementation get the vision right away. It's our position that if done right, IDX on Facebook is a killer application for agents. It not only attracts and engages consumers who are on Facebook in viral numbers, it repositions search focus around the agent and on building client relationships," he commented.
Representatives from N-Play are attending the CMLS 2012 Conference in Boston. CMLS attendees interested in the learning more about the Facebook IDX program while at the conference should contact:
